If they're only for good times

'Sometimes the past can be something we can’t seem to let go of or it can be something we’ll do anything to forget. Other times, we learn something new about the past that changes everything we know about the present.'

Time to update this space! I suppose many of you guys share the same thoughts, and its amazing to know how time zoomed while you are in the workforce.

Life has been pretty good for the first half year. I managed to handle my emotions even better and know what i really want and whats best for me. i allow myself to feel emotional and be alone when i'm down, be back to myself the very next day after i've sort out my thoughts. Its kinda foolish to think about the past when the present is here.. bf'huifen said '不要刻意去遗忘因为那只会让你更想念'. (how true it is) 谢谢你的爱和关心!

I'm not ready yet, truth to be told, I need more time..

I had a good 1 week holiday between 16th may - 22 may! And yes, i went to Taiwan again for the second time within the past 2 months. It was kinda sudden decision to tag along with bf'hf and yantin this time round. Needless to say, it was truly an enjoyable trip with these girls ard. Moreover i made another friend, linda as well! Will elaborate more during the later part of this entry.

Celebrated yvonne's birthday at USS with girlfriends! We stayed over at hard rock hotel for 1 night. The room was big and comfortable. USS was real fun especially with those exciting rides and screaming our lungs out together. Haha.. Rollercoasters were madness and it felt really good to at least sat and experience it. My favourite rides have got to be revenge of the mummy and Madagascar rides. :) we enjoyed though it was a short and mini getaway within singapore.


i received this little sweet handmade stuff from yvonne a week ago. Thanks for being so thoughtful. Those words touched my heart while reading it. Dear girl, we'll save more money and visit you in london in 2 years time. No matter how far we are, you're not forgotten. :)

As i mentioned earlier,台北之旅 was really a sudden trip. I didn't expect myself to be traveling with these 2 girls cos i'm only back from taiwan in less than 2 months then. After thinking twice and i thought since its a rare chance that we can travel overseas together, why not? I'm actually in the midst of saving more money and since yt said that money can always earn back so hahaha.. Moreover they are nice enough to pay for my accomodation there.

The first time with seet was a relaxing trip as compared to this. The weather was very cooling.. However this time, the weather was quite humid and we walked alot under the scorching sun and i became a little tanned. Despite the weather, i still enjoyed myself very much with tonnes of photos taken with them. I'm happy that we managed to cover most of our itinerary and visited those places which i never managed to cover during my first trip there.

Places like Danshui old street is really worth visiting. I'm totally in love with that place!

i like those theme restaurants and night markets that we went too. It's a pity that we never had a chance to put sky lanterns this time. The cab driver that we hired for our 1 day trip was a nice guy. He drove us ard and even brought us to songshan airport to exchange more money.

Oh, i miss those cheese potatoes, sausages, beef cup noodles, drink that danshui bubble tea etc.

Didn't really buy many clothes cos mummy warned me as i bought too many (40 pieces) during my first time with seet. Added that i haven't finish wearing those.. Moreover mummy asked bf'hf to control my spending. Hahaha! And since i cannot buy too many clothes, so i spent my money on food, magazines and bags. Lol!


All in all, this trip was real fun with these little girls around though there were tiny teeny weeny disagreements here and there. Thankfully, we know each other well enough! Thinking about the joyous contagious laughters, imitating one another's expression, doing silly things, joking ard and indulging in good food together, i totally enjoyed and had fun. Everything was made possible with you girls ard, thanks! Lets travel again someday. :)

Back to reality and slapped with work & more work after the holiday.

i met up with ah qiang and SJ some time back on april. It was nice hanging out together once in awhile.. i can't deny at how much i love eating salmon!


And on a random note, my girlfriends who i love are wonderful in their individual ways. It hit me how all you need are a few awesome pals who love you for everything and who you love for everything. That's enough for a lifetime. ♥

Finally im going to put on braces on the 10th next month! The dentist said i only need braces for my front teeth and the duration is only 6 months. Yes, im excited! Luckily no extraction of tooths are needed.


There are things we don’t want to happen, but have to accept. Things we don’t want to know, but have to learn. And people we don’t want to lose, but have to let go.

i am christine who is blessed with what i have.

i am 27 this year and my birthday falls on 4th august.

i'm just another ordinary girl.
i don't live life to be famous or someone great. i just live
for the success, love and happiness.

Though i may appear aloof at times but im actually approachable.
You will get to realise when you know me better
and how crazy can i be. :)

my life is like a ferris wheel, has it's ups and downs...

Though over the years,i've stumbled on rocks. i know
very well that with each time, I managed to pick myself up.
It makes me to be more wiser and grow stronger
with experiences that i've learnt & gained.

However things that happened didn't bring me down cos i
believe that everything happens for a reason, this may
leads me a happier life. THUS, i'm still generally a
happy person.

Looking back at certain aspects of my life so far,
i can't pride myself upon what makes the me today.
There are way too many regrets.

I feel uber sensitive about everything, thus getting hurt
easily at the slightest remark and i hate to cry infront of everyone.

I live the life the way i want it to be for nobody knows what
future might brings.

I am blessed to have a great caring family and close friends
by my side. They're the ones who will stay by me no matter
what happens and i know i can count on them always.

i meet new people, learning something from each and
every person i've came across.

i would say thay i have grown alot through experience
and exposure to different things these few years.

Sometimes things are complicated including people as well.
It might not turn out the way we want it to be or meeting
people who aren't true to you. Thus, it pretty much
depends on how we see and handle them.

Life's beautiful...
everything around me seems to glow with a touch of magic dust...
lookin' forward to the future..
wanna fly towards my dreams..
just wanna smile n laugh with each passing day with my loved ones...
learn & see more about the world around me..

If I was never good enough, then I will work my way up forever..
strive to be a better person, better friend, better daughter.

live it, love it.. and still learning from it
